BOARDING INFORMATION
At Country Lane Pet Resort, we offer safe and reliable day and overnight boarding services for dogs of all
breeds and temperaments. Our compassionate and experienced staff provide safe one on one playtime,
allowing us to meet the individual needs of each dog in our care. While staying with us, your dog will have a
private, comfortable, climate controlled accommodation that is cleaned daily with our comprehensive and pet
friendly cleaning procedures. Our frequently updated social media accounts will reassure you that your best
friend is having a blast while you're away!
A DAY AT THE RESORT
A typical day at the resort begins at 7:00am (8:00am on Sundays due to bylaw restrictions) with a brief exercise period to allow the dogs to stretch their legs, relieve themselves and expend some energy. During this time, staff are busy preparing meals, freshening water, and tidying runs. When the dogs are let back in, they are fed breakfast and given some time to digest and prepare for their next let-out.
While in our care, we do not let dogs play together within the same exercise area. However, if your dog enjoys the company of others, they may share a fence line and run together. We operate this way to ensure each dog has a safe experience with us! This also allows us to accept a wider variety of clients, including those that are unaltered or may have behavioural issues.

At approximately 9:00am, the dogs are let out again for a longer exercise period. During this time, staff scrub and rinse each pet's run, check their bedding and top up their water. Dogs are typically outside for approximately half an hour during this period, depending on the weather.

At 2:00pm, our afternoon staff arrives and the dogs are let out for another play time, also lasting approximately half an hour. Meals are prepared around 5:00pm and a rest period follows. Dogs are given one more brief exercise period at night before being tucked in for bed between 8:00-9:00pm.

SMALL DOG BOARDING
Our small dog area caters to our guests that weigh 15lbs or less. This room features smaller, cozier enclosures in a quieter setting and an exercise area exclusive for small dogs.

Monday to Saturday, guests can be dropped off and picked up any time in-between the hours of 7:30am and 8:00pm.
Sunday, between 9:00am and 8:00pm.

ADDITIONAL FEES
Out of Hours
For those who wish to pick up or drop off outside of designated hours, arrangements to do so must be made ahead of time and a $15 fee will be added.
Injected Medication
Injectable medication, such as insulin, will be charged an additional $5 per injection.
Medical Treatments
For every medical treatment such as ear medication, ear cleaning, eye medication, bandage changes, etc, an additional $5 fee will be added.
Raw Portioning
We request that all raw meals be individually portion packed and labelled for meal time. If raw meals are not easily portioned there will be an additional $5 fee added for every meal we have to thaw and portion.
Emergency Fee
In the event your pet needs to be taken to the vet, and your emergency contact is not available to do so, $100 addition fee will be added for our staff to do so.
Quarantine Fee
In the event your pet needs to be quarantined from other pets, (worst case scenario as such thing would require owner or emergency contact to pick up), $50 per day additional fee added.
LEASH WALKS
If you wish for your dog to have additional exercise and one on one time, guests can enjoy a leisurely walk in our back fields. All pet owners will be required to sign a walk waiver at the time of check in. We reserve the right to refuse walks for dogs that are found to be difficult to handle, for the safety of the dog and our staff.

Leash walks are an additional $15.00 for 15 minutes.

If 4 or more leash walks during stay, $11.00 for 15 minutes.
SPECIAL TEMPERAMENTS
Here at Country Lane Pet Resort, we understand that dogs come in many shapes, sizes and temperaments. We take pride in our ability to adapt our care so that we are able to work in harmony with many pets. We understand that different dogs and breeds have distinct personalities and needs.

We are equipped to accept most dogs, regardless of behavioral issues, but require that all clients be honest and upfront with any aggression issues or bite histories, for both the safety of our staff and comfort of your dog.

To ensure that we are able to meet the needs of each client and pet, we REQUIRE a trial visit prior to the initial stay. This allows your pet to have the opportunity to become familiar with our facility, staff, and routine, while providing a positive first experience and to ensure we are the right fit.
